Founded in 2020, Dismantled Apparel focuses on sourcing secondhand garments, dismantling them into raw materials, and rebuilding them into something new through innovative dye techniques, pattern mixing, and fabric manipulation. Every piece is handmade and unique.
After taking a few years away, 2025 marks a renewed beginning for DA, now expanding beyond one-of-a-kind creations to include alterations, repairs, visible mending, and education, all in service of a larger mission: How can we make our garments last as long as possible?
I truly believe that sustainability is (and must) be the future of fashion, and building Dismantled Apparel is my love letter to a better world.
